  • What makes your Nice vacation apartments so great?

    Simple: we only select quality apartments in the best locations in central Nice. You are making a major investment in coming to Nice; and we believe that where your stay is the most important factor. Nice apartments in the best and safest locations are hard to find and that is why our selection is small. But we won't compromise on our standards.

  • Why would I want to rent an apartment rather than stay in a hotel?

    There are 4 main reasons why customers choose an Apartment  over a hotel for their holiday in Nice:

    - Space: an Apartment offers much more space than a hotel: a typical Apartment offers additional space such as living room, dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, and outdoor areas. You'll have the comfort of a living room and kitchen so you can enjoy time at home with friends and family. For larger groups, our holiday Apartments allow you to share a space, rather than having to be divided amongst several hotel rooms.

    - Experience: Unlike hotel rooms, renting an apartment allows you to live a real experience “a la Nicoise”. You will dive into the French culture, environment and lifestyle. You will meet French neighbors, shop at the local grocery stores and bakeries. If you prefer to be lazy you can always chose our local restaurants around our flats.

    - Privacy by definition you rent a private Apartment on Nicerent.fr which means that the Apartment will be yours for the time of your stay and you will have complete privacy. For couples, they provide privacy, intimacy, and the ideal setting for a romantic vacation in Nice.

    - Price: Private Apartments are often more economical for traveling families and couples than luxury hotels: a private Apartment costs typically the price of two 4-5 star hotel rooms whereas it offers more room. You will also eat and drink “local” in your Apartment and won t have to pay the premium price of a restaurant nested in a luxury hotel. Remember that whatever price you are quoted for a hotel room, add taxes supplement, premium phone charges and of course, the costs of eating out for every snack or meal. You'll see why staying in an apartment is a better option.

    Enjoy shopping at the local supermarket and eat at home or enjoy meals out as often as you like.

Our staffs at NiceRent are specialists in short term accommodation and are always more than happy to discuss your needs with a smile.   • Are the rental prices of your Nice Apartments all-inclusive?

    The rental price includes utilities, sheets and towels, personal welcome by our NiceRent manager at the Apartment. It also includes any additional services from the Add On Menu you may have selected during your booking like high speed internet, airport transfers, etc…

    Upon your arrival your bed will be freshly made up and towels will be laid out for your use. There are no extra fees or commissions nor additional charges.

  • Are all taxes, VAT and fees included?

    Yes, the price includes all taxes, VAT and there are no additional fees.

  • What is your minimum length of stay in your Apartments?

    We usually rent between 3 days and 3 months all our properties. Specific terms may apply upon a specific property or season.

  • Are there discounts for longer stays?

    The price quoted per night is based on a 7 night stay during the lowest season. If you stay for less than 7 nights the price per night will increase. The longer you stay the less you pay per night!

    For stay beyond 3 weeks we offer special conditions. Please contact us by email for inquiries related to long stays and our commercial team will send you a more tailored offer meeting your specific needs.

  • Are your Apartment rentals from Saturday to Saturday?

    No, you may arrive any day of the week as long as we have availability on the Apartment calendar shown on our website. If the property is free on the dates required we are happy to take your booking.

  • How far ahead should we book our rental Apartment?

    It's a difficult question to answer, as the best apartments are booked up to a year in advance, often by returning guests. We recommend that as soon as you have your vacation dates, you reserve your stay on line. In particular we encourage our customers to book in advance for the summer time period which tends to be booked out many months ahead. Sometimes we have last-minute cancellations, so please don't hesitate to contact us and ask. You can use instant booking up to one week prior arrival. If you want to reserve less than one week prior to arrival, you will need to send a booking request.

  • What are your cancellation terms?

    Please see our Terms & Conditions page for full cancellation terms, but they are similar to most apartment rental companies.

    • Cancellations 60 days or more before arrival will receive 80% refund.
    • Cancellations 60 days-30 days before arrival, will receive 50% refund.
    • Cancellations less than 30 days prior to arrival will not receive any refund.
  • Do I need to provide a security deposit?

    Yes we will ask you to provide a security deposit of 150 Euro at check in.

    Upon arrival and leaving the Apartment, a record of the state of the Apartment and its contents will be made with your NiceRent Manager. If no record of the state of the Apartment and its content is made, the Apartment and furniture will deemed to be in good state of use.

    Security deposit is fully refundable upon your departure, provided there is no breakage, damage, missing items. We have never had a problem or issue with our hundreds of guests, nor retained anything for minor breakage such as wine glasses, but we must protect our Apartment owners just in case, something happens.

  • Do you rent one apartment and then switch us to another?

    No, absolutely not. The apartment you rent from us is exactly where you will stay. Each apartment is unique and located in a slightly different location so it would be unfair to switch or offer another one at the last moment.

  • Can I change the property and/or dates of my booking?

    Changing the property selected or changing dates of your booking will incur a 30 Euro administration charge. This includes shortening or lengthening your dates of stay. This is necessary in order to re-organize your stay with the property owners. We will try of course to accommodate your request as much as possible but it will very much depend on the availability of other Apartments or other available dates on your selected Apartment.

    Please note that no changes are permitted within 30 days of arrival.

  • How do we book one of your Apartments?

    You can book on-line at any time. Our calendars are live and permanently up to date. Once you have chosen your Apartment and entered your dates you can book directly if the Apartment is marked as available and if the booking is more than one week prior to arrival. In any other case, you can send us a request and we will either accept or decline your booking (in which case we will suggest similar Apartments by email). In any case our customer service team will get back to you via email within 24 hours.

  • How much do I have to pay to confirm the booking?

    You will have to pay the entire stay to confirm the booking. This is necessary to secure the Apartment with Property owners.

  • How do I pay for the Apartment?

    Payment can be made by credit card, Paypal or bank transfer. We accept payment through all major credit and debit cards. You can provide your credit card details over through our secure server when you book on-line.

  • When is check-in time and when must we check-out?

    We know what it's like to arrive in Nice after an all-night flight so we try to be as accommodating as possible. We guarantee check-in time between 2:00 pm and 8 pm., and check-out time between 8:00 am and 11:00 a.m.

    If you have a flight arriving extremely early in the morning, many guests rent the apartments beginning the previous day, so that they can get right in, knowing that the cleaning will already have been done.

    Check-in and check-out time outside of the standard range is possible but must be previously agreed with us. Extra charges may apply.

  • Once we've booked one of your Apartments, how do we get keys?

    Easy: when you rent one of our Apartments, a friendly greeter will meet you at your apartment to personally welcome you and provide you with a set of keys. They will help in every way that they can: from explaining how to use all of the appliances to shopping and restaurant ideas in the neighborhood and fun things to do in Nice. Importantly, our manager is available 7 days a week to answer any questions you may have.

    Please ensure that your arrival time is notified to us ideally 7 days and at least 48 hours prior to your arrival.

  • Do you have an office in Nice who we can contact in case of any problem or question during our stay?

    Yes and this is one of the benefits of working with us. We are located in Nice and are at the end of a phone line should you have any questions or problems. Do not hesitate to contact us, prior to your arrival or during your stay for any assistance. If needed we can also be on site on your side within a short time to provide any additional assistance you may require.
